Life Education - Learning with Harold

Today Room 3 had the opportunity to visit the Life Ed truck. We were learning about being 'Bucket-Fillers'.

 We all got to sit and listen in the truck-classroom. It was fun!

We all thought about what makes us healthy and feel good.

We listened to a story about being a bucket-filler.

We played a game where we had to match up the right things with the right title:

We learnt that when we fill up other people's buckets we actually fill up ours as well.

We are visiting Harold and his friends again on Friday after lunch.

Quick Write

We write down all the words we can in a certain time. Ms Rait sets the timer and we write as fast as we can. 

 Sometimes it is is sentences and other time we try to write word families.

 Kaid is using a silent 'k' for his word 'knit'.

 We can write anywhere we are comfortable and focused.

 Sometimes we even have to turn the board over because we have written soooooo many words!

The parent/teacher/child conferences are next Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th.

If you have received a letter then you will need to book online.

If you didn't receive a letter then your child does not need an interview at this time.
